(June 30) Workers building the Equality Pipeline for Bridger Pipeline, LLC have completed stringing all 191-miles of pipeline. Crews are still finishing work welding sections together at valve sets and utility crossings along the route. The 20-inch pipeline runs from Hulett, Wyoming to Guernsey and can carry as much as 200,000 barrels of oil a day. Construction began in November 2019. While stringing the pipeline is a significant accomplishment, there is additional project work ongoing.
“We still have some important work ahead of us,” said Tad True, Bridger Pipeline, LLC vice president.
“Not only do we have to reclaim and reseed the right-of-way, we have to hydro-test the line to insure its integrity and that it meets all federal and state regulations for safe operation.”
The line is expected to be put into service by the end of 2020.
