(April 3, 2020) Workers building Bridger Pipeline LLC’s new 20” crude oil line from Hulett, Wyoming to Guernsey continue their work despite impact to other businesses from the COVID-19 outbreak.
The crews building the Equality Pipeline have taken precautions including additional personal protective equipment and crew isolation to limit the chance any member of the team contracts the virus.
So far, construction teams have strung more than 114 miles of the new line. Construction began in November of 2019 and is expected to be completed later this year.
When complete, the Equality line will add 200,000 barrels of oil a day of capacity to Bridger’s existing pipeline network.
Bridger Pipeline, LLC is based in Casper, Wyoming and operates about 3,500 miles of crude oil pipelines across Wyoming, Montana, and North Dakota.
